Why do Legends Members have different seats for this match?
As a reminder, the Club's Member seating allocation in the Ponsford Stand at the MCG was revised in 2024 as part of a five-year stadium tenancy agreement.
Under this agreement, Collingwood’s access to the Ponsford Stand remains unchanged for all nine Home games at the MCG, with the Club retaining the same number of seats in the same location for each home game.
- When Collingwood plays an Away game at the MCG against either Richmond or Hawthorn, those clubs have access to the entirety of Level 2 of the Ponsford Stand, resulting in a reduced seating allocation for Collingwood Members.
- For Away games against Richmond or Hawthorn, all Legends Members are required to redeem a $0 ticket for these matches via Ticketek.
- Given we have fewer seats for these two Away games, Members may be seated in a different seat to their usual seat for Away games. It's important to note that only 1892 Members and Legends Members have access to MCG Away seating.
While every effort was made to ensure our agreement with the MCC remained the strongest in the AFL, the Club will continue to advocate for the best possible seating arrangements at the MCG for its incredibly loyal Members.
