Summary
This article covers a range of frequently asked questions relating to our 2025 membership renewal period, including:
- How account credit is applied to renewals
- How outstanding balances are applied to renewals
- Billing for non-access memberships & add ons
- Membership pricing changes
How account credit is applied to renewals
Members may be entitled to account credit for a few reasons, most commonly as a reward for returning their reserved seat(s) for resale in the previous season.
If you have account credit applied to your membership renewal invoice, the way this credit is applied varies depending on your payment plan type.
Members on the monthly payment plan will have their account credit applied to the second instalment of their payment schedule.
Members on the upfront payment plan will have their account credit applied to their first and only payment.
How outstanding balances are applied to renewals
Any outstanding balance from the previous year's membership is carried over to your renewal.
This outstanding balance must be paid in full before any payment can be made towards a membership for Season 2025.
For Members on the monthly payment plan, an outstanding balance will appear as a lump sum on top of their first instalment amount.
For Members on the upfront payment plan, the outstanding balance will appear as a lump sum on top of their first and only payment.
Billing for non-access memberships & add-ons
'Non-access items' are memberships or add-ons that do not include any benefits relating to stadium entry.
The non-access memberships that we offer are:
- Magpie Insider
- Mini Magpie
- Baby Magpie
- Digital Insider (Kayo)
- Global Insider
The non-access add-ons that we offer are:
- Social Club add-on
- Magpie Stars add-on
These memberships and add-ons are charged in full upfront, regardless of whether you are set up on a monthly plan for other memberships.
For example, if you were to hold a Flexi-4 membership ($125) and a Mini Magpie ($85) on a 10-month payment plan, your first instalment would be $97.50 ($12.50 for the Flexi-4 + $85 for the Mini Magpie). Your subsequent instalments would be $12.50 (solely for the Flexi-4).
Membership pricing changes
The prices of two membership packages are changing more than usual from last season.
Anzac Day membership
The Anzac Day membership prices have changed to the following for Season 2025:
$299 for adults
$149 for juniors (under 15 years of age as at 1 Jan 2025)
Following a recent review, the previous price of the Anzac Day membership was flagged as undervalued given the cost of Anzac Day tickets through other avenues, and relative to the other Collingwood membership packages and their inclusions/benefits.
As part of this change, the Anzac Day membership will now be structured as a Flexi membership with four associated Flexi tickets - up from two tickets in previous years.
Flexi tickets can be used at any Collingwood home game, and you can use multiple tickets at a single home match. You could use one ticket across four games, four at a single game, or anything in between!
Digital Insider (Kayo)
The ‘Digital Insider (Kayo)’ membership price is $350 for Season 2025.
This new price mirrors an increase to the cost of Kayo’s Basic subscription, and will affect all AFL clubs.
Importantly, purchasing a Digital Insider (Kayo) membership will still help you save on a Kayo Basic subscription.
