2023 Toyota AFL Finals Series Access (Weeks 1-3)

Summary

This is a guide to Member access across Weeks 1-3 of the 2023 Toyota AFL Finals Series. 

The information in this article only applies if Collingwood is a participating team.

What access do direct Collingwood FC Members have?

Eligible Members have access to a ticket pre-sale for Weeks 1-3 of the Finals Series, if Collingwood is a participating team. 

The dates and times of each Member ticket pre-sale will be communicated to eligible Members once confirmed. 

The pre-sale will either be via Ticketek or Ticketmaster, depending on the venue for the match. 

Please keep an eye out for email and SMS communication from the Club.

Who is an 'eligible Member'?

Any direct Collingwood FC Member with a match-access membership is an 'eligible Member' for Weeks 1-3 of the Finals Series, and can access the Member ticket pre-sale. 

Members who hold the packages below are not eligible Members:

• Magpie Insider
• Global Insider
• Kayo Insider
• Mini Magpie 
• Baby Magpie
• AFLW membership

Additionally:

• AFL Members with Collingwood Club Support (and no direct Collingwood match-attending Membership) are not eligible to enter the Collingwood FC Member pre-sale. AFL Members have their own pre-sale window, facilitated via AFL Membership directly.
• MCC Members with the $65 MCC Insider add-on (and no direct Collingwood match-attending Membership) are not eligible to enter the Collingwood FC Member pre-sale. For matches at the MCG, MCC Members have their own pre-sale window, facilitated via the MCC directly. 

How do I access the Member ticket pre-sale?

Eligible Members must use their 12-digit membership barcode number(s) to access any Member pre-sale. 

You can find your barcode number(s) one of three ways:

1. On your physical membership card (excluding Flexi members);
2. Via your MyMagpies account here;
3. Within the email communication sent to your inbox prior to the pre-sale.  

When entering barcode numbers into Ticketek or Ticketmaster, be sure to enter one per line as shown in the example below:

Additionally, barcode numbers may be dispalyed with an 'Ad', 'Co', or 'Jn' in front. Please only enter the 12-digit number into Ticketek or Ticketmaster, and not these letters. 

Club 5 & Legends -Exclusive Seating

For Weeks 1-3 of the Finals Series, an allocation of premium tickets has been set aside for our Club 5 & Legends Members. 

Once the pre-sale starts, Club 5 & Legends Members will be able to select from either of the following ticketing options:

1. 'Legends hold' (Category 1-3 tickets)*

2. 'Member hold' (Category 1-7 tickets)

To access exclusive Club 5 & Legends seating, select the 'Legends hold' option*

If you wish to sit with non-Legends Members, you wish to purchase cheaper tickets (Cat. 4-7), or the 'Legends hold' allocation is exhuatsed, please select 'Member hold' instead. 

Please note that some Category 1-3 tickets will still be available to non-Legends Members, but the majority is set aside for Club 5 & Legends.

Finally, please keep in mind that guaranteed access to Preliminary Finals tickets - or to a certain category of Preliminary Final tickets - is not an entitlement of Club 5 & Legends Membership.

*may also appear as 'Collingwood Priority Member Allocation'.

Accessible Seating

Eligible Members who require accessible seating (e.g. a wheelchair bay, ease of access seat, etc.) must submit an online form via the relevant ticketing agency.

Tips for the Member ticket pre-sale

Ticketing Agency Log-Ins

If you have not already done so, we recommend creating a Ticketek and Ticketmaster account prior to the Member pre-sale. This will ensure that your ticketing experience runs smoothly - especially as there is a time limit to checking out.

If you already have a Ticketek/Ticketmaster account, we recommend signing in prior to the pre-sale to ensure your password is correct, and that your payment/contact details are up to date.

Ticketek/Ticketmaster Queues

When accessing the pre-sale, you will be placed into a queue by Ticketek/Ticketmaster. 

Please note that joining the queue on multiple devices that use the same internet connection will only slow your progress, and will not lead to faster progression through the queue.

Ticketek/Ticketmaster Check Out

Please avoid pressing 'back' during check out, or attempting to secure more/different seats with tickets already in your cart. These actions can cause the ticketing systems to (temporarily) mark your barcode number(s) as used.
